About

ABOUT OUR FRAGRANCES

All of Ghost Ship's fragrances are handmade with only the finest all-natural perfume oils and perfumers' alcohol. We do not add anything synthetic or even water.

Our fragrances are high concentration parfum, containing 20% perfume oil. They are lovingly bottled by hand, and our labels and packaging are all designed by us in-house.

We do not make large quantities of our perfumes, so please do allow some time to receive your fragrances and to allow them to "cure" to achieve optimal performance. Though your scent will smell pretty great when you get it, it will just get better with age.

Be kind to your perfumes and store them in a cool, dark, dry place.

Unless otherwise noted, our full size bottles are 1 ounce (50 milliliters), and come in a flint glass bottle with an atomizer cap. Each comes in our signature box.

ABOUT SHIPPING TIMES

Like everyone else in the world, we are struggling with extremely frustrating and wildly changing supply chain and labor delays, passed on to us by suppliers and shippers. We work every day to create and package your perfumes, but we are experiencing frequent delays in receiving oils, bottles and packaging and shipping supplies. Feel free to contact us for updates, but we are still trying to ship within seven days of your order. Thanks for your patience.

ABOUT OUR PERFUMER

Ursula Bielski founded Ghost Ship Fragrance Co. after a 33-year career in parapsychology, history and folklore. She is the founder of Chicago Hauntings, Inc. and the host of PBS’ “The Hauntings of Chicago” (WYCC).

Ursula has been writing and lecturing about Chicago’s supernatural folklore and the paranormal for three decades and is recognized as a leading authority on the Chicago region’s ghostlore and cemetery history. She is the author of twelve popular and critically acclaimed books on the same subjects including the "Chicago Haunts" series and Graveyards of Chicago.

Ursula began making perfumes for herself and her family and friends after years of bringing home leaves, flowers and rocks from the many haunted places she visited around the world during her work as a paranormal researcher.  Longing to capture and share the "haunting" experience of these unique sites, she began experimenting with the idea of recreating them in olfactory form to share with other legend trippers.
